I’m 31-year-old woman. My health problems began 5 years ago, when my gall bladder was removed and an irritable bowel syndrome was diagnosed. I was told to begin eating differently and more healthy, but no doctor explained me what i should or should not eat with my problems. My family doctor told me to attend the weightwatchers, but that wasn’t for me, because my problem was not the unhealthy eating, but eating wrong healthy foostsuff, just not suitable for me. I tried several healthy diets, but they made me feel discomfort, my body was swollen and my stomach was upset. Then i was advised to turn to Eva with my problems and today i can say, that was the best decision i’ve made. I have lost enough weight during five months and i feel fantastic. I had to give up some of my favorite foodstuff, but i won’t mind, since it has made me feel well again. I was most surprised to find out how many different choices there are to alternate for example bread, sugar and milk.
I came in contact with Eva due to the need to loose the final five kilos of baby weight, that just wouldn't disappear no matter how healthy I thought I was. Thanks to her I understood that constant feeling of hunger and weight loss do not need to go hand in hand and that feeling better in my own body is not a result of eating less but the result of eating the right things. Eva is a great coach! She is so calm and really hears you. For a talkative person as I am, working with her was so good for me because I got to feel safe sharing all my thoughts, good or bad. She has a way of making you feel really proud of yourself and also making you be aware of what you are really struggling with. My issues were related to the fact that I was always expecting more of me and was not content with my improvement. She made me realize that I am okay and that what I was able to accomplish so far is great, plus that I am awesome no matter what! I felt safe talking to her and it was "my moment" - the moment where I got to look at all the awesome new things I have done in the past two weeks and also share my struggles and get solutions for them. I was looking for a help of a health coach for many reasons: respiratory problems, migraines, overweight, lack of energy etc. I was quite skeptical in the beginning and couldn´t believe that only changing my diet would help me to get better. When I started to work with Eva, I changed my diet step by step, got a lot of useful information about nutrition and suddenly I found myself analyzing my daily menu and making healthier choices. It all happened smoothly! At first, I thought that it would be very difficult to give up some of my comfort foods like chocolate, but after some time my cravings weren´t so strong anymore. That really surprised me! My biggest motivator during these months was my weight loss – it gave me an extra energy I needed when feeling stuck. I was never hungry, I didn´t exercise overwhelmingly, but the weight just melted away. After finishing my six months program I felt great about myself, I had much more energy and I had lost 16 kilos! My immune system is stronger and I don´t get colds so easily anymore. And my migraines are history!
I must admit I’ve struggled with food and diets since my teenage years. After years of different diets, reading about possible eating options, hours of gym, aerobics and running, I was in a place where once again I didn’t enjoy the view from the mirror and was totally lost. And then I heard about Eva whose first recommandation was the word "holistic". The fact is, we are all unique, so the holistic approach to eating seemed to me the smartest and most effective way. She is such a kind positive person who you happily spend time with but on top of that she helped me to fix some health problems I was worried about for years.
